RESPONSIBILITY
As part of the handset testing team, the validation intern will be responsible for device characterization to analyze the compatibility of Gemalto’s telecommunication card based solutions with evolving handsets. He/she would study new telecom features and execute test cases based on test plan.
Main Objectives
The main tasks related to this job are:
-Learn and understand test plan
-Execute tests cases and analysis test result
-Write test report
-Raise any quality issues and make recommendations
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Education
Engineering Degree with major in Telecommunication or Computer Science
Technical Skills
Knowledge of SIM card specifications like UICC/USIM, SIM Toolkit, Global Platform
Interest in telecom technology, especially device behavior and their interface with SIM cards and network
Knowledge of validation methodology
Languages
English: Reading and Writing
Personal Skills
Good communication skills
Good analytical skills, autonomous & thorough
Strong sense of ownership
Quick learning, positive
