Position Title: Senior Software Development Engineer (OSS T&D)

Position Description:
This is a Software development position for Spirent’s SAB (Service Assurance of Broadband) Beijing Division. The developer will work on WEB based Applications both server side and client side. Depending on the role, programming experience using Java, C, C++, Qt, , script languages (Python and UNIX shell), and Web (HTML, XML, Java servlets, jsp, css, and javascript) is required. An understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols, including IPv6 and 802.x is a plus.

Daily responsibilities will be the development of code using established SAB procedures including estimation, design, implementation, unit test, code reviews and check-in.　Developers will be required to move status in the Mercury Quality Center system and will be expected to support PV testers in testing their changes.

Major Responsibilities:
1.　　Client interface development using HTML, XML, Java servlets, jsp, css, javascript, or Qt.
2.　　Server development using Java, C, C++, and script languages (Python and UNIX shell)
3.　　Implementing requirements, fixing defects and maintaining regression tests.

Qualifications:
Education:　BSEE/BSCE required. MSEE/MSCE desired.
Experience: Working experience and/or internship in telecommunication or IT industry. Minimal 5 years for Bachelor degree and Minimal 3 years for Master degree.

Skills:
-　　The successful candidate MUST HAVE following skills:
-　　Have programming experience using Java
-　　Have programming experience with Web (HTML, XML, Java servlets, jsp, css, and javascript)
-　　Have good verbal and written English skills.
-　　Understand TCP/IP or Telecom networking fundamentals and protocols.
-　　Following skills are NICE TO HAVE:
-　　Working experience with Cisco, Juniper or other routers.
-　　Development working experience on a carrier grade OSS.
-　　Programming experience using C, C++, Qt,
-　　Programming experience using script languages (Python and UNIX shell)
-　　Be Familiar with 802.x and IPv6
